Following his victory over notorious outlaw Johnny the Gob, Henry must track down and vanquish another Bandit Leader in order to purge Trosky of its criminal element – a formidable foe, Casper, once a key member of the ruthless Gules’ gang.

In this guide, you’ll discover where to find Casper, an enigmatic and powerful adversary, who will be joined by a strong group in one of the largest bandit hideouts within the game. Here, players can gather all the necessary details about his whereabouts and strategies for defeating him.

How To Start Casper Quest In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

As a dedicated fan, I’ve successfully conquered each challenge in the Bandit Hunt series – from Canker, Handsome Charlie, to Johnny the Gob. Now, I find myself with a brief pause of 2 full game days before I can return to Gules and take on my final mission: tracking down the elusive and dangerous Casper.

Casper is stationed in Apollonia, a notoriously dangerous area teeming with wolves, robbers, deep gorges, hilly terrains, and dense forests – perfect for an outlaw like him to establish his hideout.

Gules warns Henry that he should not venture there unarmed; Casper’s group is guarded by the deadliest members of their criminal organization, and the camp they’ll lead him to is the most dangerous one in the area – a statement that holds true as Henry will encounter at least 12 bandits within this compound.

To confirm their triumph, players must retrieve Casper’s Ring from his frozen hand and return it to Semine Keep to claim their prizes.

How To Beat Casper In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Casper is rarely alone due to constant bandit presence throughout the day. Night guards stationed on hilltops surrounding the camp are armed with Master Hunter Bows, vigilant of any paths leading to the camp area. Additionally, seven guards patrol the encampment around the clock, making it extremely challenging to approach covertly.

Fortunately, there’s a tactic to surprise these miscreants, and it involves going to Trosky castle. Once there, use the fast travel point as your starting point, then walk in an easterly direction towards the tree line from the Apollonia forest. Once you reach the treeline, switch to stealth mode.

Quietly sneak up to the first guard keeping watch on the western part of the camp, then execute a silent assassination using a dagger you’re carrying for an easier takedown. Afterwards, pick up his body and hide it discreetly behind a large tree so other bandits in the area won’t notice him.

Next, slightly adjust your course to the left, and you’ll see another guard perched atop an isolated cooking pot, maintaining watch over the camp. Knock him out and that leaves just ten bandits remaining, with Casper among them.

Casper dons a comprehensive Brigadine Long Coat, paired with a Bell-shaped Kettle Hat, and carries a Longsword. Players find it hard to overlook him. He frequently roams the area stretching from the guard post to the main campsite, where the loot chest lies. Consequently, players should plan to wait until he’s ascending the road leading to the big camp, at which point they can attempt a covert assassination on him.

As a cunning gamer, I’ve found that utilizing Mutt can be quite advantageous in our game world. By having him bark loudly at the bandits, I create a distraction. This moment of chaos is an opportunity for me to secretly poison either their cooking pot or wine, but keep in mind, this strategy comes with its fair share of risk.

Keep an eye on the other four outlaws. Two of them usually rest in the encampment, one is preparing meals, while another scouts from a cliff overlooking the eastern road. The remaining five are dispersed around the campsite or patrolling its eastern side. Be cautious not to provoke a major conflict prematurely, as they might surround Henry and reduce him to pulp if they catch wind of your presence.

Following the encounter with Casper and his associates, players must retrieve Casper’s ring from his body and secure the keys to the chests for additional loot, provided they have the audacity to confront the fury of the remaining outlaws.

Once completed, they may go back to Gules, presenting evidence of eradication to claim their ultimate prize: 95 Groschen, and the opportunity to train in Thievery, Survival, and Swords as a Skill master at Gules.
