Indeed, a Basilisk isn’t a genuine animal found in reality. Instead, Henry must concoct one through an uncommon ritual involving the egg of a black rooster and a toad’s dwelling place. Black cockerel egg location – KCD2

In the town of Lower Semine, the unusual black rooster gained such notoriety that it became a local folktale. Farmer Slavek, however, grew so frightened by this legend that he believed the rooster’s egg-laying capacity was supernatural and had it killed, thinking it was an act of the devil.

Head towards the forest’s southern border near Lower Semine, and you will come across a dead black rooster in a pile of manure, with one of its eggs located not far away.

Toad’s nest location – KCD2

Since you now possess a black rooster’s egg, it’s time for you to place it within a toad’s nest, allowing it to transform into a basilisk egg. The process is simple: locate a toad’s nesting area and deposit the egg there overnight.

The Toad’s Nest is located southwest from Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn. Keep near the eastern cliff edge as you venture into the marsh, listen for the toads’ croaking sounds, and you should discover the nest beneath a fallen tree.

Once you pass enough time, retrieve the egg and you can return to Voyta.
