Kim Kardashian’s 10 Million USD Robbery Trial Begins in Paris: All You Need to Know

The trial for the Paris robbery of Kim Kardashian, which occurred approximately 10 years ago during Paris Fashion Week and netted her a loss of $10 million, began on Monday. In this case, ten individuals, each facing charges, are set to testify in court.

As per NBC’s reports, Aomar “Old Omar” Ait Khedache (the alleged mastermind), Harminy, and Didier “Blue Eyes” Dubreucq are among the accused defendants. Additionally, Gary Madar and Christine Gloid, who work as Kardashian’s drivers, were also mentioned in the list as being involved in the planning of the robbery.

According to news outlets, a mother of four is set to give testimony at a Paris court. Michael Rhodes, representing the Kardashian family, expressed his client’s high regard and respect for the French legal system to a media platform.

Beyond this point, she emphasized that Kim has received exceptional regard from the French legal authorities. In the interest of fairness towards everyone involved in the case, she decided to keep her statements confined to the courtroom.

In October 2016, a robbery occurred in the private quarters of a media personality, during her stay in Paris for Fashion Week. The victim, Kim Kardashian, found herself face-to-face with five masked intruders who broke into her hotel room and threatened her with firearms. These men demanded the expensive engagement ring she received from her ex-husband, Kanye West, valued at USD 4 million.

In her account to the authorities, the mother of four disclosed that the robbers had thrown her onto the bed and bound her with plastic cables. They ransacked her handbag, scooped up the restrained woman (Kim), and placed her in the bathtub until they too managed to flee.

Unfastening herself, Kim Kardashian dashed towards her neighbor’s house to knock and summon her sister, Kourtney.

Regarding the looted goods, the men made off with a jewelry box holding two diamond bracelets, a diamond necklace and earrings, several gold necklaces, a gold watch, and another diamond necklace.
