Kim Kardashian is facing criticism for gifting each of her four children a Pomeranian puppy for Christmas.
The reality TV personality posted a picture of the adorable puppies all cuddled up on her Instagram, explaining that each of her children received one.
Kim Kardashian shared Christmas photos of her and her four children – North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6 – all wearing matching pajamas from her SKIMS clothing line. She shares the children with her ex-husband, Kanye West.

PETA, an animal rights group, spoke out against Kardashian’s decision. Ingrid Newkirk, the organization’s founder, shared her concerns with the Daily Mail.
She explained that puppies are living animals, not toys, and expressed disappointment that Kim Kardashian chose a different endorsement deal instead of promoting shelter animals, which is why she’s facing criticism online. Newkirk also stated that overlooking the problem of homeless animals is deeply insensitive.
Okay, so this activist had some solid advice for Kardashian after she got a new pet. Instead of just getting animals, she suggested reaching out to groups like PETA or a local shelter first. And honestly, a really cool idea was to have her kids volunteer at a shelter – talk about a learning experience! Beyond that, the activist proposed she could really make a difference by funding things like adoption events or low-cost spay/neuter days to tackle the problem of so many dogs needing homes. It’s a thoughtful approach, and I think it could be a great way to use her platform for good.
Newkirk didn’t limit her criticism to Kim Kardashian. She also criticized Kim’s sister, Khloé Kardashian, for getting a new black Labrador puppy.
