Kim Kardashian is grabbing attention again, this time with a surprising take on a well-known historical event.
During a recent episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, the reality star revealed to Sarah Paulson that she questions whether the 1969 moon landing was real. She even attempted to persuade Paulson to agree with her skepticism.
Kim, 45, shared that she’s been sending articles about astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong to Paulson. She recalled one article where someone asked Aldrin about the scariest moment of the mission. According to Kim, Aldrin responded, ‘There was no scary moment, because it didn’t happen. It could have been scary, but it wasn’t, since it didn’t happen.’
Honestly, seeing Buzz Aldrin now, he’s understandably gotten older, and sometimes says things that just don’t quite add up. It’s actually made me even more convinced that the whole thing never happened. I really believe that now, and I said so on the show.
Paulson stated she intended to thoroughly review the materials Kim provided, and Kim admitted in a private interview that she often shares conspiracy theories with the actress. When a producer later asked Kim if she believed the moon landing was real, she confidently replied, “I don’t think we did. I think it was fake.”
Kim explained her skepticism about the moon landing, pointing to several inconsistencies. She questioned why the flag appears to wave in photos when there’s no air on the moon, why Buzz Aldrin has suggested the landing might not have happened, and why the footprints in the museum don’t match those in the photographs. She also wondered why there are no stars visible in any of the pictures.
When people criticize her and call her crazy, Kim doesn’t seem to mind. She simply said, “They’ll criticize me regardless, so just check out my TikTok and see what I’m all about.”
