Kim Kardashian recently expressed disappointment about failing the California Bar Exam, and she’s blaming some psychics she consulted for giving her false hope. In a TikTok video, she revealed that four psychics all confidently predicted her success, leading her to call them dishonest and untrustworthy. She advised a friend not to seek guidance from them in the future.
Okay, so even though things haven’t gone exactly as planned, Kim Kardashian is still determined to become a lawyer! She posted on Instagram saying she’s basically just pretending to be a lawyer on TV for now, which is so Kim! But seriously, she’s been working at this for six years and she’s not giving up. She said she’s going to keep studying and pushing forward until she passes the bar exam – no easy way out, just hard work and a ton of determination. It’s really inspiring to see her stick with it!

The reality star didn’t quite pass the exam, but she’s taking it as motivation to keep trying. “Not passing isn’t a setback – it actually pushes me harder,” she said. “I was so close, and that makes me even more determined to succeed.”
Kim Kardashian began studying law in 2018 through a unique apprenticeship program in California. Instead of going to law school, she trained directly under experienced attorneys. She completed this training with a San Francisco law firm earlier in 2024.
Kim Kardashian’s passion for law comes from a personal place. Her father, Robert Kardashian, was a well-known lawyer, and she’s been working on criminal justice reform for several years. She famously helped secure the release of Alice Marie Johnson, who had been sentenced to life in prison for a nonviolent drug crime, and has also supported programs like “90 Days to Freedom” and the First Step Act, both of which work to lessen the severity of sentences for people who commit crimes for the first time.
Kim Kardashian faced a challenge, but it wasn’t her first. She had to take the “baby bar” exam – a test for law students not attending traditional law schools – four times before passing in 2021. She remembers failing three times, but always persevering and increasing her study efforts.
Despite not passing the bar exam yet, Kardashian isn’t giving up. She intends to keep studying and retake the exam when she’s ready.
