Khloe Kardashian Reveals She’s Having ‘A Hard Time’ Processing Daughter True Thompson’s New Milestone

As a lifestyle expert with years of personal and professional experience under my belt, I can empathize deeply with Khloe Kardashian‘s emotions as she sends her daughter, True Thompson, off to first grade. Having been through similar milestones with my own children, I understand the mix of feelings that come with witnessing our little ones grow up.

Khloe Kardashian finds herself filled with emotion as she prepares to send her daughter True Thompson off to first grade. On August 26th, the TV personality openly shared her struggles in accepting that her little girl is already embarking on her first-grade journey. In a heartfelt message posted on Snapchat, Khloe expressed her feelings, stating, “Every year when True starts a new school year, I’m swept away by a whirlwind of emotions. This year, as she enters first grade, it’s a significant milestone for her… and I must admit, I’m finding it extremely hard to come to terms with the fact that she’s beginning first grade.”

Additionally, Khloe openly shared that she’s experiencing intense emotions such as sorrow, worry, and apprehension, as her child embarks on a fresh adventure.

She penned down, “I can’t deny the sense that pieces of who she once was are slipping away with each passing day.” She elaborated, “New elements are stepping in, shaping her into the extraordinary person she will eventually become. And I grieve for her – all the old versions of her that I used to know. Time seems to race by, faster each year it seems, and this new academic year serves as a reminder for me to cherish every moment and absorb every experience.”

She also acknowledged how fortunate she feels to have True as her daughter, stating that she is far greater than any dreams she had for a daughter. Moreover, she expressed her anticipation for the coming years and the shared experiences they will have.

Despite her concerns and apprehensions, Khloe couldn’t help but feel immensely proud of her daughter and eagerly rejoice in her achievement.

On August 27, Khloe posted a series of photos on Instagram to mark her daughter’s first day in first grade. “First Grade!! True, I am incredibly proud of you! I believe the year ahead will be amazing for you! I can hardly contain my excitement for you, my dear. Although I may not appear fine now, I’ll gather myself together by pick-up time.”

In the photos Khloe posted, she’s pictured with her daughter True, son Tatum, and their pet cat, all smiling in front of a vibrant backdrop reminiscent of a large box of crayons, filled with colorful pastel balloons to mark the special event.

In a similar vein, Tristan Thompson, Khloe’s former partner and True’s father, also posted some photos on Instagram featuring him with True and their son Tatum, marking True’s first day. These images were captured in a setting adorned with crayons and balloons, though Khloe was not present in the pictures he chose to share.

He titled the pictures, “Twinny starts 1st grade – Time flies, wow! I know Grandma Gigi is watching over you from above and she is incredibly proud of you and all that you are. You are an incredible big sister. Love you Tutu.” (Gigi is Tristan Thompson’s late grandmother.)

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson began dating back in 2016, but their relationship has had its ups and downs since then. Their daughter True Thompson arrived in 2018, followed by son Tatum Thompson in 2022. Nowadays, they are working together as friends to raise their two kids as co-parents. Prior to this, Khloe was wedded to basketball player Lamar Odom from 2009 until 2016.
