As kids, Kim and Khloé saved money by putting it into a big piggy bank shaped like a Coca-Cola bottle. Over time, they accumulated quite a bit of cash. However, when Kim was just 21 years old and going through her divorce from Damon Thomas, she faced some serious financial difficulties.

In her room, she was weeping, and I said something like, “I happen to have a Coke bottle filled with cash. Let’s withdraw that, head to the bank, get it cashed, and perhaps we can use some of this money towards your divorce settlement,” Khloé revealed.

After that, the sisters tallied up the money in their piggy bank, amounting to $6,000 – exactly what Kim needed as a down payment for an apartment and to pay for the first and last month’s rental fees.

Later on, Kim discovered an unique method to express gratitude for her sister’s kindness. On Khloé’s birthday, she managed to find the exact Coke bottle piggy bank once again, stuffed it with money, and presented it to her as a touching gift symbolizing deep appreciation.
