As a dedicated follower of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, I can’t help but admire Khloé Kardashian‘s resilience and strength throughout her journey. Her experiences, both personal and public, have shaped her into an individual who values self-care and healing above all else.
Khloé Kardashian has resumed therapy after a long hiatus, prompted by an intense past encounter. The founder of Good American, who previously sought therapy during her divorce from Lamar Odom in 2013, has disclosed the factors that undermined her commitment to counseling as a means of healing. She credits her sister Kim for providing the encouragement and comfort needed to re-engage with psychological support services.
In an interview with Bustle for their December 3 article, Khloé revealed, “I was undergoing therapy, and the next moment I knew, something private I shared in my sessions appeared in a tabloid.” She strongly believed that her therapist leaked the information to the tabloid, as she could not think of any other way such personal and confidential details could have been disclosed.
Instead of opting for therapy, Khloé found solace in frequent visits to the gym as it provided her with an outlet for her feelings. However, she revealed that she no longer trusted anyone else enough to confide in them.
She emphasized that it was shocking and hard to accept, yet there wasn’t the slightest possibility it originated elsewhere. Instead, she decided to work off her anxiety by exercising, rather than seeking a new counselor.
“The place that I felt safest was the gym.”
Previously on The Kardashians, Khloé’s sister Kim and friend Malika Haqq suggested that she revisit conventional therapy. According to Khloé’s conversation with Bustle, when she celebrated her 40th birthday, she chose to resume sessions with the same therapist as her sibling.
Initially, Khloé wasn’t particularly excited about resuming therapy, but she found herself feeling optimistic following her initial meeting with her “wonderful” new therapist. It seems that her counselor suggested attending at least three sessions each week.
In another part of the conversation, Khloé shared insights about her love life post-split with Tristan Thompson, explaining that she hasn’t given much thought to dating recently.
“I’ve been single for about three years and I love it,” the reality star shared.
