Are you fond of the captivating world in Pillars of Eternity? If so, you might want to explore Avowed, another RPG set within the same intriguing universe. However, be aware that unlike Pillars, this game will offer a more action-oriented experience. To navigate through it smoothly, you’ll likely need well-organized keybindings, especially for potions and “mana” resources. But remember, adjusting keyboard settings can prove to be trickier than expected as they may reset occasionally, potentially leading to character deaths!
Keybindings not working in Avowed
It appears we’ll need to hold off for some updates. Initially, issues with shader compilation might lead to the game crashing. Additionally, keybindings in the game aren’t saved between sessions. Unfortunately, I had encountered difficulties early on, getting killed twice before realizing the need to adjust keyboard settings each time the game was started. Regrettably, there doesn’t seem to be a quick fix for this issue at the moment. We’ll just have to exercise patience.
In simple terms, we’re stuck, either waiting for developers to solve the problem or for creative gamers to find a solution as a workaround.
