Kevin Spacey Faces New Assault Allegations in London Civil Case

Kevin Spacey is facing a new set of legal accusations in London. He’s scheduled to appear in court as civil lawsuits alleging s assault continue to be investigated.

According to BBC News, three men are suing the actor, claiming he assaulted them on separate occasions between 2000 and 2013.

In a recent London court hearing, the judge proposed October 12, 2026, as a potential date for the trial. The court is still determining whether to try all cases together or separately.

Spacey has denied all claims against him. BBC News reports that he’s officially refuted the allegations in two of the three cases, and is still preparing a response to the remaining one.

A man, whose name is protected by a court order, initially filed a lawsuit in 2022. That case was put on hold while Kevin Spacey was on trial in the U.K., where he was ultimately found not guilty. The man claims an incident in August 2008 caused him emotional distress and financial hardship.

Ruari Cannon has also come forward with allegations, claiming Kevin Spacey sexually touched him at a party in 2013. This occurred while Spacey was the artistic director at the Old Vic theater.

I remember seeing Michael Cannon featured in that Channel 4 documentary, Spacey Unmasked. It really struck me how Kevin Spacey responded afterward. He said something along the lines of, whenever he’s actually had a fair chance to address the accusations, they haven’t held up and he’s been cleared. It felt important to note that was his perspective on things.

Kevin Spacey has been involved in civil lawsuits previously. In 2022, actor Anthony Rapp filed a lawsuit against him in New York, claiming an incident occurred in the 1980s. However, the court ruled in Spacey’s favor, finding him not responsible.

As for the upcoming London cases, the final trial schedule will be set later.
