The cast of Jumanji 4 is starting to share glimpses of what it’s like on set, and Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson are leading the way with behind-the-scenes fun.
Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart previously starred together in the films Central Intelligence and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. They’re teaming up again for the newest Jumanji movie, promising to deliver the same fun and lively performance audiences have come to expect.
On March 6, 2026, Kevin Hart posted a humorous video to Instagram featuring Dwayne Johnson in costume. The clip shows Johnson sitting on a stool, eating, and chatting with someone out of view. Hart playfully teases Johnson for needing to take an eating break, imitating him saying, “If I don’t eat my food, I get dizzy. I get really sick if I don’t eat. I need a break.” Johnson acknowledges he’s being filmed but remains good-natured. Hart then jokingly insults Johnson with an expletive.

The next day, Johnson posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) featuring himself, Kevin Hart, and their fellow actors Jack Black, Alex Wolff, and Karen Gillan in a car. Hart jokingly complained about the limited legroom, threatening to halt production with an expletive-filled outburst. Johnson playfully responded with a similar jab, directing the insult towards Hart’s leg space.
Black joked, “He needs the leg room,” and Johnson playfully retorted, “Who cares? Your legs are two feet long!” Everyone laughed, but Hart didn’t seem amused. Johnson shared the story online, writing, “I love my son Kevin Hart so much, but when he complains about his car seat, I just want to playfully scold him for being annoying.”
Okay, look, I adore my son, Kevin – he’s the best. Seriously, my heart could burst. But let me tell you, car seat battles? They push me to my limit! There are moments when I just want to… well, let’s just say I have to bite my tongue. He’s a cute kid, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes that little face is so frustrating! We were dealing with this on set today while filming Jumanji, and it’s definitely a ‘dad thing’. Still, even with the whining, it’s all fun and games, you know? 😂

Joining them are new cast members Brittany O’Grady, Burn Gorman, and Dan Hildebrand.
Jumanji 4 is set to hit theaters in the United States on December 11.
