Kevin Costner is facing new reports of drama on the set of *Yellowstone*. Sources say he recently had a very intense argument with his co-star, Wes Bentley, that almost became a physical fight.
As reported by *The Hollywood Reporter*, the disagreement occurred on the set of the popular Paramount Network series. Kevin Costner, who starred as John Dutton and was also an executive producer, reportedly wanted actress Jen Landon (who plays Teeter) to perform a scene in a way that differed from the script written by showrunner Taylor Sheridan.
Sources say Kevin Costner and Hayes Bentley had a disagreement on set. Bentley apparently told Costner he was there to work on a show created by Taylor Sheridan, not one directed by an actor. The argument reportedly became physical for a moment before crew members intervened and pulled them apart.
According to reports, Kelly Reilly, the actress who plays Beth Dutton, was noticeably distressed by the incident. Production on the show was temporarily halted as a result.
This incident adds to a growing number of reports that Kevin Costner can be challenging to work with. According to *The Hollywood Reporter*, sources described him as “impossible” on set, and mentioned previous problems with arguments, people leaving the production, and delays in filming.
According to *Page Six*, Kevin Costner was upset with recent media attention and has taken a break from Hollywood. Reports say he’s been deep-sea diving in the Caribbean, even searching for sunken treasure. Sources claim he recently found gold coins and emeralds during his dives.
Kevin Costner is considering a TV show based on his love of treasure hunting around the globe. Currently, he hasn’t found a network or studio willing to fund the series.
