Kermit the Frog recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss the revival of The Muppet Show. The interview was full of fun stories and playful conversation between Kermit and Kimmel – exactly the charming experience you’d hope for.

In a six-minute interview, Kermit the Frog talked about being back on TV, working with Seth Rogen, and even relaxing on Magic Johnson’s yacht. Jimmy Kimmel also mentioned a quick encounter Kermit had with Kaley Cuoco behind the scenes. Kimmel playfully asked if Kermit was worried Miss Piggy might see the interview, and Kermit joked that she actually watches Jimmy Fallon instead.

I really enjoyed watching this interview – it was just so lighthearted and fun! They bounced jokes off each other effortlessly, and it felt like a totally natural conversation, even though one of them was a Muppet! It was impossible not to smile.

I’m so excited about the new Muppet Show revival! It’s coming to Disney+ and ABC this Wednesday, February 4th, and it looks amazing. They’ve got some incredible guests lined up – Maya Rudolph, Seth Rogen, and Sabrina Carpenter are all going to be there. Seth Rogen is even helping produce it! I loved hearing Kermit tell Kimmel that getting the Muppets back together wasn’t hard – apparently, there aren’t a lot of singing pigs, joke-telling bears, or dancing rats looking for work! Honestly, we’re the lucky ones to have them back.

With so much serious news lately, Jimmy Kimmel’s interview with Kermit the Frog is a refreshing break. It’s fun to relax and enjoy a cheerful chat between a Muppet and a talk show host, and it’s always great to see Kermit again! Fans will be happy to hear that The Muppet Show is coming back with a new special event on Disney+ and ABC on February 4, 2026.
