Reflecting upon Kendall Jenner‘s candid conversation on the Anything Goes podcast, I find myself profoundly moved by her experiences growing up in the limelight. As someone who has also navigated the complexities of fame at a young age, I can relate to the unique challenges she faced.
Kendall Jenner recently discussed her upbringing under the public eye and her teenage modeling days on the Anything Goes podcast. In conversation with Emma Chamberlain, the 28-year-old model likened her situation to Hannah Montana, without the hidden identity or disguise associated with the Disney Channel character. Jenner explained, “I didn’t have a disguise or a physical transformation.”

Jenner explained that while they were on the reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she and her siblings attempted to lead ordinary lives. For as long as they could, they attended traditional schools, but eventually switched to homeschooling during their last two years of high school. She added, “I began homeschooling in 11th and 12th grade, meaning we were attending a regular school every day and maintaining friendships from before the show started.”
Jenner stated that while her life may have been unconventional, it still felt familiar, and she’s deeply appreciative of this. In the interview, she conveyed, “We managed to live a life as close to normal as I believe we could, and I’m truly grateful for that.”

Starting in 2007, Kendall was only 10 years old when the show began. She shared that she and her younger sister, Kylie, had to handle grown-up tasks earlier than usual. Despite this, Kendall expressed gratitude for the situation, stating it could have been more challenging.
From her teenage years onwards in her modeling profession, Kendall Jenner has admitted that she’s been quite fortunate within the industry. She generally had a favorable experience, yet encountered difficulties as well. In an interview, she shared, “However, I’ve also faced my own set of hurdles, such as overworking or missing out on roles that I deeply desired.”
Kendall recounted instances where she found it challenging and lonely to travel on her own for work at such a young age, often ending up crying herself to sleep in various cities due to the sense of isolation from loved ones.
Even amidst her challenges, Jenner continues to express gratitude for her experiences and the chances she’s encountered, understanding that her hardships form a significant aspect of a broader, intricate tale.
