Kelsey Grammer, age 70, recently announced the arrival of his fourth child with his wife, Kayte Walsh. The couple welcomed a baby boy named Christopher. Grammer shared the news on the ‘Pod Meets World’ podcast, which is hosted by Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong.
“It was like three days ago,” Grammer said. “Christopher just joined the family.”
As a big fan of Kelsey Grammer, I was reading up on his family life. It turns out he and his wife, Kay Alden Walsh, are already parents to three kids: a twelve-year-old daughter, Faith, and two sons, Gabriel who’s ten, and eight-year-old James. And if that wasn’t enough, he also has four older children from previous relationships – quite a full house!
Kelsey Grammer has four children from three different relationships. His oldest daughter, Spencer, is 41 and has a son. He also has a 33-year-old daughter named Greer, and two children with his third wife, Camille: a 22-year-old daughter named Mason and a 19-year-old son named Jude.
The actor shared the news several months after reports surfaced in June that his partner was pregnant. Back then, the couple was seen in London – Walsh visibly expecting in a long black dress, and Grammer dressed casually for the summer weather.
Grammer has experienced a full personal life, including four marriages and eight children. He was married to Doreen Alderman from 1982 to 1990, but they lived separately for the last six years of their marriage.
Their daughter, Spencer, was born in 1983 and later had a son in 2011. Kelsey Grammer also had children with several other partners: a son named Greer with Barrie Buckner, two children with Camille Donatacci, and then began a family with Kayte Walsh.
He married Walsh in February 2011, not long after his divorce. Their relationship has had its challenges, including a heartbreaking miscarriage before they welcomed their first child. They are now parents to four children and recently settled in Portishead, Somerset, England, buying a house there in early 2023.
Even at 70 years old, Kelsey Grammer continues to be a dedicated family man, enjoying and navigating the ups and downs of raising children in a big, blended family.
