Kelly Clarkson Shades Ex-Husband Brandon Blackstock With Cheeky Holiday Album Visualizer: Check Out

As a long-time fan of Kelly Clarkson, I must say her latest move is as captivating as her powerhouse vocals and as bold as her fearless personality. In her newest holiday album visualizer for “When Christmas Comes Around…Again,” she’s subtly throwing shade at her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, by hanging a stocking labeled “Nope” where his would typically be. It’s a testament to the strength and resilience Kelly has shown throughout their tumultuous divorce and custody battles.

Kelly Clarkson appears to be subtly criticizing her former spouse, Brandon Blackstock, by sending Christmas-themed jabs through the visualizer of her newly released holiday album, “When Christmas Comes Around…Again.

On December 18th, as unveiled on Wednesday, the singer displayed four stockings hung above a fireplace in her artwork. One of them appears to be labeled ‘Mom’, suggesting it belongs to Clarkson, aged 42. The other two seem to belong to her children with Blackstock, aged 48: River (10 years old) and Remy (8 years old).

In a technical or sentimental sense, the last stocking should go to Blackstock. However, it clearly says “Nope.” (This paraphrase maintains the original meaning while using simpler and more conversational language.)

In 2020, Clarkson and her ex-music manager, Blackstock, parted ways following many years of matrimony. Subsequently, they found themselves embroiled in a lengthy legal dispute regarding child custody, shared assets, and spousal maintenance matters.

Recently, Clarkson also said “nope” to having another man in her life, at least for now.

On November 16, the former contestant from American Idol shared openly during her conversation on KOST 103.5 that neither of her two children express comfortableness regarding her dating or being in a relationship with anyone besides their dad.

The “Broken & Beautiful” singer mentioned that she’s currently honoring her children’s preferences regarding romance, but has made it clear to them that she may eventually be open to a romantic relationship in the future. She expressed hope that they can empathize with her viewpoint when such a situation arises.

Clarkson added that she tends to come across as “not very decisive,” yet she continually encounters individuals who are eager to establish an immediate, exclusive relationship with her, as she expressed.

In 2013, Clarkson and Blackstock tied the knot. However, their union dissolved in 2020 when Clarkson filed for divorce, which was officially concluded two years later, in 2022. Currently, Clarkson is the primary caregiver of River and Remy, and the trio has moved from Los Angeles to New York City.

Blackstock holds visitation rights with their children.
