During a recent conversation with ComicBook, Idris Elba, who voiced Knuckles in ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’, expressed his excitement about the possibility of future Knuckles adventures, even playfully hinting at the idea of a collaborative project title.
He playfully suggested that “Shadow Knuckles” resembles a musical group, implying they are a duo. However, Reeves presented “Knuckles & Shadow” as a more direct and simple name for their partnership instead.
Regardless of some initial doubts, the Sonic characters’ film adventures have proven to be a triumphant tale instead.
Initially, the design of characters in the first ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ film drew some initial negative feedback. This led to a revamp of the character design that was positively accepted by viewers, paving the way for the series’ expansion and success.
