Ke Huy Quan Recalls Receiving Holiday Gifts From Steven Spielberg Every Year Since the ‘Last 40 Years’; DEETS

Ke Huy Quan has talked openly about receiving annual holiday gifts from his first director, Steven Spielberg, for the past four decades. During an interview with Andy Cohen on his podcast, Quan revealed that he usually receives a call from Spielberg’s assistant to confirm the delivery address of the present.

The actor revealed that among the gifts he’d receive, one would be a nod to “The Goonies”, or else items would bear his signature.

Each year during the holidays, Huy Quan’s assistant would typically reach out to him with a request for his most suitable mailing address.

The Love Hurts star went on to joke that he would love to get on Tom Cruise’s list of Coconut cake.

The actor shared an interesting experience by saying, “I find it astonishing when I exclaim, ‘Wow, look at this latest device!’ and I really yearn to own it. Remarkably, that very item, the present or gift, would later arrive for me.” Quan also mentioned, “This has occurred on numerous occasions.

In a conversation with The Guardian, Quan reminisced about how Spielberg has been thoughtful enough to send him gifts throughout the years. Their professional journey began when Quan was just 13 years old, marking their first collaboration together. Quan went on to express his gratitude towards Spielberg, saying “He gave me my first job and, despite the passage of time, he hasn’t forgotten about me. Whenever I needed assistance, he has always been there for me.

Quan and Steven Spielberg have a strong connection between them, and during his acceptance speech for the Golden Globes, Quan even acknowledged Spielberg publicly.
