As a devoted Katy Perry fan, I can hardly contain my excitement for her upcoming single “Lifetimes” and its accompanying music video! The revelation that her three-and-a-half-year-old daughter Daisy served as the inspiration behind this new track makes it even more heartwarming and personal.
As a huge fan of Katy Perry, I’m thrilled to pieces about her upcoming single “Lifetimes.” Her music has been a constant source of inspiration and joy in my life, and I can’t wait to hear what she’s cooked up this time. The fact that she’s revealed the release date, August 9, only makes my anticipation grow stronger. And the news that there will be a music video to go along with it? Oh, I’m absolutely giddy about that!
At a recent event where her new album was played, Perry revealed that her upcoming song was inspired by her three-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Daisy, whom she has with her partner of many years, Orlando Bloom.

Katy Perry reveals 3½-year-old daughter inspired upcoming single
“Occasionally, you might seek your soulmate in a romantic partner, but for some, it can be found in unexpected places like a pet, family member, friend, or even a car. For the singer of Roar, this cherished companion turned out to be Daisy, as she shared in an interview with The Sun and further revealed that she wrote ‘Lifetimes’ about her daughter.”
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m sharing an insightful tidbit about my personal journey. You see, the title of one of my recent songs holds a special meaning – it’s a tribute to my daughter, Daisy, who has become the embodiment of love I’ve sought in life. Every night before bed, we share a beautiful moment where I ask her if she’ll find me in every lifetime, and she sweetly responds “Yes.” This ritual inspired the song title, as it encapsulates the eternal bond between us. My mom is currently working on a project, and Daisy serves as its inspiration too.

In a chat with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Perry swayed along to these words: “I adore you for, I adore you for life / For lifetimes / I sense your feelings, can you hardly believe it? / I’ll keep loving you until the very end and then start all over again.”
On July 10th, Perry revealed that her new album, KP6, would be released soon. She explained that the album is a lively dance-pop creation with love’s symbolic number 143 running as a recurring theme throughout. The singer began promoting this upcoming release earlier in the month by unveiling her first single, Woman’s World, accompanied by a music video featuring Trisha Paytas. However, both the song and its accompanying video have received mixed responses from fans so far.
143 arrives on September 20.
