Katy Perry recalls the remarkable evening at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Australia. Following her initial live performance experience with Swift in February 2024, Perry was overcome with enthusiasm and couldn’t help but praise the artist behind Bad Blood.
Perry took a break from her routine and spent part of it in Sydney, Australia, where she managed to secure tickets for Swift’s live concert. She found that enchanting evening particularly memorable as she enjoyed the performance.
Adele shared with Capital FM that she stopped by Taylor Swift’s concert and was overjoyed about it. She expressed, “I had a free day before the performance, so I thought, ‘Hey, let’s go to this show!’ And she was equally thrilled, as was I.
She was touched by the bond among Swifties and noted that many of them gave her friendship bracelets during their time together, and Rita Ora even sent one to her as well.
Perry truly appreciated the communal spirit at the concert, remarking that the overall ambiance was inviting and optimistic. She exclaimed, “I absolutely loved it! It felt like a community – such a charming, affectionate one. Plus, I had the chance to see her again and we managed to chat. I hold her in such high regard.
The instance signified another significant step forward in the mending of their relationship, which had been strained for quite some time due to rumors of discord between these two musicians. Their public healing process took place in 2018 when Perry extended a symbolic olive branch to Swift during her Reputation tour.
