Katy Perry’s new music video for “Bandaids” is a whirlwind of craziness. A sneak peek shows the pop star constantly getting into chaotic and messy situations, turning what started as a playful video shoot into complete disorder.
The video features Katy experiencing a string of mishaps that are pretty painful to watch. It shows her getting her hand jammed in a sink, falling out of a tree after mistakenly cutting a branch, and tripping on a moving escalator.
She was enjoying time at a café when everything went wrong. The windows shattered, sending glass flying, and she was then shocked by electricity and struck by something falling from above. Incredibly, she then accidentally caused an explosion simply by lighting a cigarette.

People who watched the preview immediately thought of the Final Destination films due to the incredibly dramatic and unlikely series of events. Online, many viewers expressed their enthusiasm for the unique idea and said they couldn’t wait to see the complete video.
Katy Perry will release her new song and music video, “Bandaids,” on Thursday at 7 p.m. Eastern Time. This is her first new music since her album 143, which came out last September and reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart. 143 included the singles “Woman’s World,” “Lifetimes,” and “I’m His, He’s Mine” featuring Doechii. It’s currently unknown whether “Bandaids” will be a single release or part of a larger project, according to Billboard.
