Kathryn Newton turned heads at the 2026 SXSW Film & TV Festival premiere of Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. She wore a vibrant floral mini-dress combined with a cool studded leather jacket, making a striking and fashionable statement on the red carpet.
This movie picks up where the 2019 hit film left off. Emma Newton stars as Faith MacCaullay, the sister of Samara Weaving’s character, Grace.
The character she plays gets caught up in a dangerous game orchestrated by a hidden and influential group. The actress, Newton, said filming was incredibly demanding, explaining, “We were constantly covered in blood and dirt during production, so it’s amazing to be here today wearing normal clothes.”

The movie premiere was buzzing with energy as fans and the media admired Newton’s stylish outfit. She confidently posed for photos and really stood out from the other celebrities there.
Beyond her work in horror films, Emma Newton has been focusing on other ventures. She’s a global ambassador for Ralph Lauren’s golf collection and the First Tee foundation, and she’s a very skilled golfer with a +2 handicap. Recently, she’s appeared in the movies Lisa Frankenstein and Abigail, and there’s speculation she’ll be in Young Avengers.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, known as Radio Silence, directed Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. The movie stars Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and returning actor Samara Weaving. It will be released in theaters across the country on March 20, 2026.
