As reported by People magazine, while conversing with journalist David Wise, the actress reminisced about Elton John often sharing fascinating stories about her father, Bill Hudson.
According to reports, Bill Hudson had a close relationship with John and frequent collaborator Bernie Taupin. In fact, their group, The Hudson Brothers, were under John’s record label, Rocket Record Company. Notably, John himself took charge in producing many of the band’s albums.
“The actress who played Marshall said, ‘Whenever I met Elton John, especially after Almost Famous, he would share tales about how my father was supposedly quite unpredictable and often bare-naked. Apparently!’ She also mentioned, ‘Elton seemed to enjoy being naked. The stories I’ve heard about my dad from Elton.’
In addition, Hudson contemplated the impact of music on her bond with her father, disclosing that she yearned for his involvement in her life. She mentioned that despite the intricacies and challenges of life, as well as various factors, their relationship was particularly difficult.
The actress stated that music served as a means for her to establish a bond with her father.
