Kanye West Responds to Accusations of Non-Payment by Donda 2 Producers: ‘They Tried to Charge Me 3 Million USD’

Once more, Kanye West finds himself in a difficult situation, this time not due to his controversial and offensive Twitter posts, but rather concerning his newly released music album, Donda 2. After much anticipation, the rapper finally unveiled the project; however, it appears that fortune hasn’t been on his side recently.

The producers of the album claim that he hasn’t paid them and have warned they may remove the album from circulation unless he settles the debt.

It was disclosed on April 30th (Wednesday) that Ye’s long-term collaborator, DeAndre “Free” Maiden, who manages his producers Jahmal Gwin and Brian Miller, expressed frustration because he hasn’t been compensated for eight tracks from the album.

The album might get taken down from streaming platforms, they warned. In a recent post, Ye expressed dissatisfaction towards his longtime music partners, asserting that they learned beat-making skills due to him. “Free Maiden demanded three million dollars for these beats which I taught to people who know how to make beats,” he alleged in the post.

He mentioned that they were attempting to bill him a whopping three million dollars,” he continued. Over the past three years, the rapper has been hinting at his upcoming album, and with its potential removal from the market looming, fans should hurry up and secure their copies right away. The initial plan was for this album to debut on Ye’s Stem Player gadget, but that idea ultimately fell through.

Ye has been making headlines for various controversies.

The situation began when he and his estranged spouse, Bianca Censori, made headlines for their questionable appearance on the Grammy Awards red carpet. This was followed by a string of disrespectful and self-centered social media posts, allegedly causing Censori to leave.

Additionally, he was embroiled in a bitter dispute with his former spouse, Kim Kardashian, regarding the use of their child in one of his collaborative songs that included imprisoned rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs. Moreover, the creator of Yeezy brand drew criticism when he publicly expressed support and admiration for Adolf Hitler on Twitter, which led to a wave of opposition.
