As a die-hard fan who’s been following Kanye West since his College Dropout days, I can confidently say that Vultures 2 has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions! From the initial excitement over the album announcement to the endless speculation about its release date, it felt like an eternity. But boy, was it worth the wait!

Fans were delightfully taken aback when Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign unexpectedly released their long-anticipated album titled Vultures 2.

After a prolonged wait, the long-anticipated collaboration album between Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign has been officially released on digital streaming platforms. Interestingly, a track called “Slide” was previously made available on yeezy.com, and an album stream became accessible via YouTube beforehand.

As a long-time fan of Kanye West and his music, I was thrilled to learn about the upcoming release of Vultures 2 this week. Having followed his career since the College Dropout days, I have grown accustomed to anticipating new music from him with bated breath. However, after seeing the release date for the album pop up on West’s website, my excitement quickly turned to confusion when it suddenly disappeared. As someone who has been burned by premature announcements before, I can’t help but feel a sense of trepidation and caution as I wait for any further updates regarding Vultures 2. While I remain hopeful that the album will still see the light of day, my past experiences have taught me to be patient and prepared for anything in the world of Kanye West.

Significantly, the unexpected release encompasses songs such as Slide, River, and Time Moving Slow, which were previously suggested. Originally, only Slide was accessible on digital streaming platforms. This event took place last September during a listening party in Geneva, Switzerland, where Kanye West and Ty debuted it for the first time. Subsequently, two months later, at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, producer Fred Again played it during his concerts, mentioning that he had collaborated with Ty on creating this song a few months prior.

Last December, the event known as “The Vultures Rave” was held in Miami, and Slide performed there once more. Subsequently, during that same event, North West, Kanye’s daughter, sported a shirt displaying James Blake’s name on its tracklist. While it is unclear whether this means he contributed to the final version of the performance or not, it is suggested that he might have done so.

Tracklist for Vultures 2 boasts a total of 16 songs, with collaborations from artists such as Future, Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Lil Durk, North West, and several others.

The trip to Vultures 2 took a considerable amount of time and faced numerous setbacks. In January, it was announced as the second part of a trilogy, with Kanye West also mentioning that he intended to release three albums in the same year. Vultures 1 was released on February 10th, but its sequel had initially been scheduled for March 8th.

Regrettably, no new information emerged back then; what ensued was a series of tantalizing social media hints, followed by another supposed release date on May 3rd – neither of which materialized. These continuous delays in global listening events have cast significant doubt over the upcoming release of Vultures 2.

Following the initial expected launch date for Vultures 2, fans voiced their dismay on social media. One comment read, ‘Kanye West seldom releases on his announced dates. Guess that’s why we’re always taken aback.’ Nevertheless, Vultures 2 has now been officially released.

With this, fans will now have Vultures 2 to consume after months of waiting and speculating.
