Kaley Cuoco Gets Candid About the Personal Crisis That Brought Her To Tears

Kaley Cuoco recently shared that April 2022 was the most difficult time in her life. In a candid conversation on the Armchair Expert podcast, the actress described the sadness she felt during the final months of her marriage to Karl Cook. Even though they were still living together just weeks before their divorce, Cuoco admitted she was deeply upset, crying and fearing she had made a terrible mistake with her life.

She was deeply affected by her personal struggles, to the point where they started to interfere with her work and made everything feel overwhelming. She remembered feeling incredibly down and even wondered if her career and happiness were over for good.

However, despite how difficult things were, Kaley Cuoco made it clear she doesn’t blame Tom Pelphrey, describing him as wonderful and stating she has only positive things to say about their three years together.

Kaley Cuoco quickly found happiness again, meeting her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, at the premiere of the Netflix show Ozark just two weeks after her split. She jokingly told a friend she had a feeling she’d meet the man she’d marry after seeing him on social media, and she was right! Their relationship moved quickly, and they welcomed their daughter, Matilda, who will turn three in March.

I’m such a fan of Kaley Cuoco, and it’s amazing to see how consistently she works in television! While some of her recent shows have been a bit hit-or-miss with critics, I’m really excited about her new project, Vanished. It just premiered on MGM+ on February 1st, and she’s not only starring in it, but also executive producing, which is fantastic! The story sounds so intriguing – she plays Alice Monroe, an archaeologist whose boyfriend vanishes on a train in the south of France, and the show is filmed in beautiful locations like Paris and Marseille. I can’t wait to see what happens!

The actress has said her new four-part series stands out because her character is more realistic than roles she’s played before. However, the series hasn’t been well-received by critics, currently holding a 42% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The show also features well-known international actors like Matthias Schweighöfer and Karin Viard. Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting news about the future of the animated series Harley Quinn, where she provides a voice. While she’s hopeful they can reach a sixth season, DC Studios hasn’t officially approved it yet.

Now that she’s turned 40, Kaley Cuoco is prioritizing life outside of work, especially her animal rescue farm and horses, which bring her a lot of joy. She recently said that reaching this milestone has given her a clearer perspective, helping her let go of the guilt she used to feel about juggling being a mom and her successful career.
