Enthusiasts of Naoya Matsumoto’s acclaimed manga and anime series centered around battling monsters now have the opportunity to join in with the turn-based RPG called “Kaiju No. 8 – The Game” on both iOS and Android devices. Although there are plans for a PC release of the game via Steam, an exact date has not yet been set.

Kaiju No. 8: The Game offers unique narratives set in a well-known environment, all voice-acted and developed in partnership with Matsumoto. Titled Kaiju No. 8, this story revolves around protecting mankind from attacks by colossal monsters. You assemble teams consisting of four characters and send them off to combat the formidable kaijus, utilizing their abilities and ultimate moves to generate effective teamwork. Of course, it’s essential for players to advance their characters and outfit them with increasingly powerful gear in order to accomplish their mission successfully.

In a delightful surprise for anime enthusiasts, the game includes the highly-anticipated 5-star character Reno Ichikawa, complete with his iconic weapon AR-Boreas, freshly unveiled in the latest series installment.

Due to surpassing the milestone of a million pre-registrations, every player is entitled to an exclusive benefit: the ability to pick one 5-Star character at no cost, along with 20 gacha tickets, a complimentary 4-Star character, and various beneficial in-game items.
