Akatsuki Games announced that *Kaiju No. 8 – The Game* will launch on PC as a free-to-play game on October 1, 2025.
The role-playing game, which lets players collect characters through a chance-based system, became available on iPhones and Android devices in late August 2025 and quickly surpassed three million downloads.
The game draws from Naoya Matsumoto’s manga and anime, featuring both a brand new story and scenes directly from the original series. This offers something for both longtime fans and newcomers, with plenty of thrilling action and intricate character dynamics to explore.
Like many games of this type, the battles are easy to control. Success depends more on building a strong team, because each character and enemy has special skills and qualities you’ll need to understand.
