This past Saturday, July 20th, held special significance for the couple as it was their 11-year wedding anniversary. They celebrated this joyous occasion by sharing heartfelt messages on social media, expressing their deep affection for one another.

I’ve been reminiscing on Instagram, sharing old and new pictures of my beloved wife Ferguson and me. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been married for eleven years now! Time truly does fly when you’re in love. In a heartfelt post, I expressed my gratitude for every moment we’ve shared and looked forward to many more years together.

Justin pondered in his post, “Happy anniversary, @jessicyler! Eleven years of marriage have passed by so swiftly – where did the time go?”

Ferguson not only reshared Justin’s message on his Instagram stories but also posted an anniversary message with a vintage, black-and-white image of Mikita and himself on Instagram.

Mikita crossed paths with Ferguson while Mikita was studying law and “Modern Family” made its debut on TV. Despite being in a relationship with someone else then, Mikita and Ferguson’s romance blossomed not long after.

In an interview with People, Mikita described their wedding night as being exceptionally warm. The festivities continued at a nearby New York City venue after the ceremony, which Mikita’s wedding planner, Bryan Rafanelli, suggested stocking with noisemakers for guests to use on the walk over, maintaining the lively atmosphere.

Currently, Ferguson stated that he still displays their wedding memorabilia in frames above the fireplace.

In August 2020 and November 2022, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita became proud parents to sons Beckett Mercer and Sullivan Louis, respectively.

Regarding their decision to adopt children, Ferguson expressed that having a family was an integral part of their plans, but the moment had to be right. She explained, “My husband is a decade younger than me, so I held off until his readiness aligned with mine. If I had done this ten years ago, perhaps, but everything happens as it should.”
