Justin Bieber thrilled fans with a performance of his song “Yukon” from his album SWAG at the 2026 Grammy Awards. He and his wife, Hailey Bieber, arrived on the red carpet in matching black outfits and shared affectionate photos with the press. However, Bieber chose a bolder look for his performance, seemingly revealing a new tattoo of Hailey’s face on his back. According to producer Ben Winston, Bieber hadn’t fully decided on his outfit until just before going on stage.
Justin Bieber’s new tattoo appears to have been a belated call
Grammy Awards producer Ben Winston recently discussed Justin Bieber’s return to the show after a four-year absence on the Rolling Stone Music Now podcast. Winston described Bieber as very laid-back, noting that the singer seemed to make decisions on the spot – even deciding what to wear as he walked onstage. Interestingly, Bieber debuted a new tattoo that appeared to be inspired by a 2020 magazine cover featuring his wife, Hailey.
Justin Bieber caused a stir on social media with his performance outfit – or lack thereof! He sang one song shirtless, wearing only satin boxers and socks. Fans have been buzzing about a possible new tattoo of his wife on his back, though Bieber hasn’t confirmed it yet.
Ben Winston revealed that Justin Bieber only spent about 15 minutes rehearsing during his scheduled 90-minute slot. Winston explained that when they discussed Bieber’s performance plans, Bieber simply said he intended to just go on stage and sing without a detailed plan.
Despite being nominated for four awards at the Grammys, a father of one didn’t win any this year. He had previously won two Grammys: one for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with ‘10,000 Hours’ and another for Best Dance Recording with ‘Where Are Ü Now’.
