Justin Bieber has announced his departure from Drew House, a fashion brand he started in 2018 alongside Ryan Good. In an Instagram Story posted on April 10 and later deleted, the singer made it clear that he no longer wishes to be connected with the label. This decision follows increasing speculation about his personal life, particularly regarding his relationship with Hailey Bieber, although neither party has commented directly on these rumors.
Justin Bieber stated, “I am no longer associated with this brand. Drewhouse does not reflect my personal values or lifestyle. If you’re a fan of the real me, Justin Bieber, I advise against purchasing anything from Drewhouse.
Justin provided a screenshot of Drew House’s Instagram account, with the logo picture obscured by his handwriting. His remarks imply a total breakaway from the brand he contributed to creating, which was initially introduced in January 2019.
Not long after parting ways with Drew House, Justin Bieber embarked on a fresh endeavor in fashion known as SKYLRK. Yet, a video depicting an animated version of himself burning down a house – symbolizing the end of Drew House – has caused quite a stir and controversy.
According to a source, the SKYLRK announcement came as a shock and insult to everyone involved in the upcoming Drew House project. Additionally, some of his staff members were impacted by the Palisades and Pasadena wildfires. The video he released, which depicted burning down a house, was seen as highly inappropriate and insensitive, reflecting his true character.
Initially, Justin Bieber played an active role in Drew House; this was conveyed in a 2019 interview when co-founder Ryan Good revealed that Bieber had personally invited him over and outlined his vision for the brand, delegating the position of creative director to him. Now, however, Bieber has decided to step back.
As per Ryan, Justin Bieber elucidated the idea effectively and comprehensively, demonstrating both clarity and precision in his thoughts. He highlighted that Justin’s strong intuition and keen sense of style, regarded as one of the brand’s key strengths, were particularly noteworthy. Moreover, Ryan pointed out that the public fascination towards both Justin and Hailey Bieber significantly contributed to Drew House gaining popularity in the fashion industry.
