Justin Baldoni’s Side Says Blake Lively Can’t Prove What ‘Never Happened’ After Losing USD 400 Million Defamation Case

In response to Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni’s legal representative, Bryan Freedman, has signaled that they will continue their legal battle following the dismissal of Baldoni’s USD 400 million lawsuit by the judge. They made this statement to TMZ.

Additionally, it was disclosed that the judge has instructed both parties to appear in court to modify four out of seven allegations made by the director against the mother of four.

On Monday, the judge threw out Baldoni’s legal case against Lively, her spouse Ryan Reynolds, and The New York Times. Furthermore, Marvel was removed from Baldoni’s lawsuit as his team argued that the character “Nicepool” from Deadpool & Wolverine was a jab at Baldoni, who is known for starring in Jane the Virgin.

Justin Baldoni’s attorneys strike back at Blake Lively

Regarding his reaction to the statement from the actress from Another Simple Favor and her legal team, Freedman countered with a statement to TMZ, firing back. He clarified, “The claim by Ms. Lively and her lawyers of victory in the recent ruling is untrue, so let us make it clear about the current court decision.

The Attorney noted, ‘Although the court discarded the accusations related to defamation, it encouraged us to revise four out of the seven charges we’ve brought against Ms. Lively. This revision will allow us to present further evidence and more precise allegations.’

He continued by stating that the case involves allegations of fabricated charges of sexual harassment and retribution, as well as an unsubstantiated smear campaign, which Ms. Lively’s own team characterizes as ‘untraceable’ since they can’t verify events that supposedly didn’t occur.

Despite Lively successfully clearing the allegations against her, her ongoing legal battle with Baldoni appears to have strained her friendship with Taylor Swift. Although the musician was discharged from Baldoni’s lawsuit some time ago, it seems that the Grammy-winning singer has yet to reconcile with the actress.

Six months following the release of their film together, a dispute involving the actors from “It Ends With Us” started in court. Lively initiated legal action against Baldoni, alleging sexual harassment and defamation (running a smear campaign).

Regarding the director, he has taken legal action by filing a lawsuit against the actress who starred in The Age of Adaline and her spouse, charging them with defamation and extortion.
