Justin Baldoni’s Lawyer Slams Blake Lively’s Motion to Dismiss Lawsuit: ‘Fantastical Claims Will Be Swiftly Debunked’

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my thoughts on the recent response from Justin Baldoni’s legal team regarding Blake Lively’s attempt to dismiss her case. Bryan Freedman, who stands by Baldoni in this lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, has branded Lively’s action as “abhorrent.” In their motion filed on Thursday to dismiss the case, Lively’s lawyers portrayed Baldoni’s counterclaim as “vengeful and disjointed.

Shortly after, Baldoni’s lawyers publicly criticized the actress and her spouse for causing chaos within the court system through their actions. The document obtained by People Magazine stated, “Ms. Lively’s recent request to withdraw from the predicament she herself instigated is a particularly egregious instance of misusing our legal system.

Tough regulations are established with the aim of safeguarding the unguilty and ensuring that people can lawfully stand up for themselves. Laws should never be manipulated or tailored by privileged groups to serve their individual interests.

In his statement, Freedman also pointed out that Reynolds’ document contained a reference to dismissing Baldoni’s lawsuit against him.

In the paperwork submitted today, the lawyer emphasized that, similar to our declaration made yesterday in response to Mr. Reynolds’ identical tactics, we will persistently pursue accountability for Ms. Lively’s malicious actions. These actions involve falsely accusing my clients of harassment and retaliation.

Six months following the premiere of their film “It Ends With Us,” a legal dispute started between the former Gossip Girl star and Baldoni. She initiated a lawsuit against her fellow actor, alleging instances of sexual harassment and orchestrating defamatory campaigns against herself as grounds for the suit.

In response, the filmmaker also submitted a lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds, alleging charges of blackmail and slander.
