Justin Baldoni vs Blake Lively: Publicist Denies ‘Leaking’ Texts to It Ends With Us Actress for THIS Reason

In the latest development of the legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, Stephanie Jones, the former publicist of Jane the Virgin star, has refuted claims that she leaked text messages to Blake, which reportedly indicated that Justin’s team was engaged in a negative publicity campaign against her.

On Thursday, in newly submitted court papers in New York, Jones, who has countered Baldoni’s recent defamation accusations that she disclosed “confidential details,” declared that she handed over those text messages, fulfilling what she claims was a subpoena. Additionally, as reported by the Daily Mail, Jones has also leveled charges against him for breaching his contract.

The publication reportedly examined a document Jones claimed was a subpoena, allegedly received from Lively’s legal team in October, regarding the ongoing lawsuits.

The article states that the outlet demanded the publicist to supply all communications and relevant documents concerning Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Additionally, it was noted that non-compliance could result in being held in contempt of court.

The article reports that Jones’s recent legal filing claims Baldoni, a former business partner of Jones, along with Jennifer Able and an ex-client of Jones named Melissa Nathan, violated their contracts by engaging in illegal activities together, as alleged by the report.

For those unfamiliar, last month, the legal team of the director of Five Feet Apart mentioned Jones in his defamation lawsuit against Lively. They claimed that the text messages submitted to Lively (the Age of Adeline star) were allegedly cherry-picked to suggest that Able and Nathan conspired to discredit Jones, as reported by the outlet.

Maaren Shah, acting as Jones’s attorney, made a statement to the press. During this statement, she highlighted some concerns, stating, “They’ve spread untruths in the media to harm Ms. Jones’s business, taken confidential documents and clients, and failed to pay Jonesworks what was rightfully due. These are actual occurrences, and slick public relations strategies can’t alter them.
