Justin Baldoni and Jennifer Abe have initiated legal action against their former publicist, Stephanie Jones. Previously, Jones managed the affairs of Justin, the director of Five Feet Apart, and Wayfarer Studios, following rumors of a disagreement between Justin and Blake Lively that were widely reported.
As a loyal team member at Joneswork PR, I found myself in the thick of things when whispers of tension between the stars of “It Ends With Us” started to swirl around us.
As a die-hard fan, it really got me riled up when some of my favorite cast members decided to unfollow Baldoni on Instagram. It seemed like such an innocent move, but little did I know it would ignite a whirlwind of curiosity among the public, quickly spiraling into a complex web of legal issues that had everyone in Hollywood buzzing with excitement. The drama surrounding this situation became the talk of the town and left me utterly captivated by every twist and turn.
According to Bryan Freedman, Stephanie Jones is clearly responsible for setting off a chain of disastrous events because she breached fundamental privacy rules and any lingering trust that her clients may have had towards her, as stated in a communication to Variety.
It was asserted by someone that although Jones was let go from Wayfarer Studios, she inappropriately utilized her partner’s phone to reach out to Lively’s publicist, Leslie Sloane. Freedman stated that Jones deliberately disclosed private conversations with Sloane.
As a committed devotee in December 2024, I found myself filing a lawsuit against my co-star from It Ends With Us, citing instances of sexual harassment and a malicious online smear campaign. The confidential legal document was unfortunately leaked to The New York Times, leading them to publish a shocking exposé outlining the distressing allegations that had been made.
As a diligent follower reporting the details, I can confirm that the news outlet asserted they received their information from “thick stacks of text messages and emails” obtained via a subpoena. These communications were subsequently linked to Abe’s phone, which was confiscated in August 2024.
Currently, Abe claims that her ex-partner, Jones, deceived her. Consequently, Abe was denied access to her bank accounts tied to her phone number, iCloud, utilities, insurance, and nearly all other critical accounts.
According to Abe and Baldoni in their recent lawsuit, Jones willingly contacted Lively’s group, proposing what he thought was evidence working against them.
