Justin Baldoni recently spoke up for the first time since filing a lawsuit against Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds. When seen at Los Angeles International Airport, reporters asked him about his comments regarding the ongoing legal dispute with his co-star from the 2024 film ‘It Ends With Us’. As reported by TMZ, Baldoni expressed gratitude for having his family supporting him during these challenging times.
After the actress’ sexual harassment and defamation lawsuit, filed in December, the filmmaker was prompted to file a $400 million lawsuit, alleging that he had been targeted by such actions.
During an interview with a media outlet, Baldoni expressed his gratitude by saying, “I’m thankful to be with my family,” and he emphasized, “We’re fortunate to have incredible friends and relatives. Faith… faith.
In my professional opinion, beyond the high-profile couple in the limelight, I’m also observing a situation where the director is taking legal action against their public relations team. The reasons are quite substantial: civil extortion, defamation, portraying false information that invaded their privacy under the guise of truth (false light invasion of privacy), and a breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing.
The legal document states that this lawsuit arises from a significant volume of authentic evidence showing Blake Lively and her associates’ deceptive effort to harm Justin Baldoni, his team, and their companies by spreading manipulated, unverified, false, and altered information to the media.
