What is Jurassic World Rebirth about?
Five years following Jurassic World Dominion, it’s been discovered that Earth’s ecosystem is largely unsuitable for dinosaurs. The ones still alive are confined to isolated equatorial regions with climates similar to their original habitats. In this tropical biosphere, the three largest land, sea, and air creatures carry DNA that could unlock a life-saving drug crucial for humanity.
As a movie enthusiast, I recently had the pleasure of watching “Johansson’s Jurassic Adventure,” a thrilling tale starring Academy Award® nominee Scarlett Johansson. In this film, Johansson plays Zora Bennett, an accomplished specialist in covert operations, tasked with leading a top-notch team on a classified mission to acquire valuable genetic material.
However, the operation takes an unexpected turn when their vessel collides with a family’s boat during a boating expedition, sending them all adrift onto a forbidden island, once home to the secretive Jurassic Park research facility. The island is teeming with a diverse array of dinosaurs, making for a breathtaking yet perilous landscape.
Stranded there together, Zora and her team confront a chilling revelation that has been kept hidden from the world for over four decades. This shocking discovery adds an extra layer of tension to their already precarious situation, as they struggle to survive amidst these prehistoric beasts while uncovering the truth about this mysterious island.

Who stars?
Starring Scarlett Johansson, a renowned action star, along with Emmy and SAG nominee Jonathan Bailey and two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, this new action-filled installment follows an extraction team as they venture to the deadliest location on Earth: an island research facility for the original Jurassic Park, which houses the most fearsome creatures left behind.
Featuring renowned global actors Rupert Friend and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, this movie is helmed by the talented director Gareth Edwards, who brought Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to life. The screenplay is penned by David Koepp, an original Jurassic Park writer.
Ali is Duncan Kincaid, a reliable member of Zora’s team; Jonathan Bailey, who has won Critics Choice and Olivier Awards (for Wicked and Bridgerton), portrays paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis; Rupert Friend, an Emmy nominee known for Homeland and Obi-Wan Kenobi, appears as Martin Krebs, a representative from Big Pharma; Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, who starred in The Lincoln Lawyer and Murder on the Orient Express, plays Reuben Delgado, the father of the shipwrecked civilian family.
In the movie, you’ll find Luna Blaise (from Manifest), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty), and Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs. Lopez) portraying members of Reuben’s family. Additionally, Philippine Velge (Station Eleven), Bechir Sylvain (BMF), and Ed Skrein (Deadpool) are part of the cast as they depict individuals from Zora and Krebs’ teams.
Behind the movie
The movie titled “Jurassic World Rebirth” is helmed by BAFTA-winning director Edwards, with a screenplay penned by Koepp (of “War of the Worlds” fame), inspired by characters initially conceived by Michael Crichton. The production is overseen by Oscar® nominee Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, both veterans in the Jurassic series and recently associated with last summer’s hit, “Twisters”. Steven Spielberg, Denis L. Stewart, and Jim Spencer are serving as executive producers for this project.
