Journalist Reveals The Celebrity Who Saved Her Day After ‘Horrific’ Interview With Blake Lively

As a dedicated follower of the entertainment industry and a fellow journalist who has experienced the highs and lows of interviewing celebrities, I can truly empathize with Kjersti Flaa’s recent revelation about her encounter with Blake Lively. While I have had my fair share of awkward interviews, nothing quite compares to the disastrous chat with Blake that left Kjersti feeling like quitting her job.

Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa, who’s been making headlines due to her critique of Blake Lively over an awkward remark during a previous interview, has lauded Kristen Stewart for her charming personality in a subsequent chat after the one with Blake Lively.

On August 11, Flaa shared a 2016 interview clip featuring Blake Lively and Parker Posey, which she promoted for the film “Café Society” on YouTube. She labeled it as a ‘terrible’ encounter. The caption read, “‘The Blake Lively interview that made me want to quit my job.'” Flaa received a wave of backing from viewers who disapproved of the Gossip Girl star’s allegedly inappropriate conduct.

On Monday, August 19th, I shared another video detailing a recent incident. As a token of gratitude to those who’ve shown their support, I called out those individuals in Hollywood who exhibit bullying behavior or harbor “mean girl” attitudes. In this video, I admitted that after the ordeal, I found myself apprehensive about interviewing Kristen Stewart, a fellow cast member from our movie.

Afterward, she shared that her encounter with Kristen Stewart was quite different from what she had with Lively. In fact, Kristen came across as extremely “kind” during their interview, and even managed to brighten up her day after the unfortunate conversation with Lively.

“I’d like to give a special mention to Kristen Stewart, whom I spoke with following the tragic event. In praise of her, I say…” (Flaa)

She mentioned that Stewart was an exceptionally delightful interviewee who truly brightened her day. Given that she was quite nervous entering the interview due to a recent experience, she admitted. Moreover, she described Stewart as incredibly kind.

As a lifestyle expert, I often find myself pondering over intriguing decisions made by public figures, and Flaa’s recent choice is no exception. Many have wondered aloud why she decided to release that video now, given that Lively has been grappling with significant criticism for her seemingly insensitive approach during the promotion of her latest movie, “It Ends With Us.” One can’t help but wonder if sharing this clip in 2016 might have steered a different course for the conversation around Lively’s actions.

In relation to the topic at hand, she clarified: “Eight years after initially posting the interview, I’ve been asked by many people why I chose to share it now. The explanation is that another journalist reached out to me, sharing a story reminiscent of this one he had encountered. We then engaged in discussion and exchanged details.”

She then expressed that such behavior was unacceptable and needed to be addressed. Additionally, she admitted it took her some time to come clean about the incident, as it left her feeling uneasy during subsequent interviews.

Additionally, Flaa asserted that she had no knowledge about the commotion related to Lively and the film adaptation of “The It Ends With Us”.

“For quite some time, I took responsibility for what happened since I thought perhaps I acted or spoke inappropriately, which is why I hesitated,” she explained. “To be honest, I wasn’t aware of all the other issues causing commotion that were happening.”

What is the Blake Lively interview controversy?

In that viral video with over three million hits, I, as a devoted fan, noticed Lively subtly taking a jab at Flaa following the reporter’s congratulations on her pregnancy.

“First of all, congrats on your little bump,” Flaa said at the beginning of the interview.

In response, Lively said, “I’m happy for you about the baby bump,” but at that moment, Flaa was not expecting a child.

During the continuation of the interview, when Flaa inquired about the duo’s costumes in the film, Blake seemed somewhat irritated by the query, stating, “It seems everyone is curious about our outfits, but I can’t help but wonder if they would ask the male actors about their clothes too.” Both Lively and her co-star Posey appeared to disregard Flaa for much of the interview, instead focusing their body language towards each other rather than addressing the interviewer.

Based on what Flaa shared with Business Insider, it seems he needed some time to overcome the event.

Every time I stepped into a room after that point, I grew anxious, fearing a repeat of the incident. Not understanding what caused the behavior only added to my distress. For quite some time, I took the blame for it. I’ve encountered temperamental celebrities before, but nothing compared to this interview experience.

What is the It Ends With Us Drama?

As a lifestyle guide, I’d like to address a topic that’s been generating quite a buzz lately. Recently, I’ve observed Blake Lively receiving a wave of criticism regarding her casual approach during the promotion of her latest film, “It Ends With Us.” This movie delves into a deeply sensitive subject – domestic abuse experienced by a woman. It’s crucial to remember that when we take on roles in films, especially those dealing with such profound issues, our actions off-screen can have significant implications and should reflect the seriousness of the subject matter.

Additionally, there have been allegations that she took advantage of the situation to publicize her hair care and drink products rather than focusing on raising awareness about domestic violence.

Blake is facing criticism too, due to his decision to stop interacting with his co-star, Justin Baldoni, after some artistic disagreements caused a split in the production of the film, resulting in two different versions.

remarkably, Blake Lively hasn’t spoken out publicly about any of the recent criticisms directed at her, including Flaa’s remarks, as of yet.
