Josh Hartnett Recalls Time He Met His Spouse Tasmin Egerton While Playing ‘Husband and Wife’ in the ‘Worst Movie’ They Ever Did

As an ardent fan of Josh Hartnett, I must say his life story is nothing short of a Hollywood fairy tale! From their chance encounter on the set of a less-than-stellar movie to becoming each other’s soulmates and parents to four beautiful children, it’s a love story for the ages.

Josh Hartnett and his beloved spouse have enjoyed many wonderful moments together, starting with their encounter on the film set where they co-starred, all the way to raising four stunning children. Looking back at the day he met Tamsin Egerton, Hartnett has become more open about their romantic journey.

The relationship between Oppenheimer’s star and Egerton’s past relationships can be traced as far back as 2011. Interestingly, while discussing this, the actor from Lucky Number Slevin also reminisced about a film.

Reflecting back on pivotal moments of my life, I’d like to share an unforgettable encounter – meeting my future wife – that unfolded in a truly Tinseltown fashion. This tale begins when I crossed paths with my “O” co-star, the extraordinary Julia Stiles, during an interview session for Interview magazine. We reminisced about our shared past and I recounted the remarkable way Egerton and I became acquainted.

“We played husband and wife in the worst movie either of us has ever made,” the actor added.

Continuing further, Josh Hartnett mentioned that he wouldn’t reveal many details about the movie or the identity of the director. However, he shared that unfortunately, the project got stuck during post-production.

Regarding their shared love story, Hartnett mentioned that he was filming with Egerton in London at the time, but he also had a serious partner. Interestingly, Egerton too had a boyfriend. However, as they spent more time together on set, it became apparent to both actors that their existing relationships were not sustainable because they had strong feelings for each other.

While still conversing, the actor from 30 Days of Night mentioned that he ended his relationship with his former girlfriend, coincidentally so did Egerton with hers. Shortly following the completion of filming, they started dating one another.

During his time in New York, Josh Hartnett (of Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre fame) shared some vacations with another individual, Egerton. Subsequently, Egerton decided to relocate to the United States. Hartnett then disclosed that he and Egerton embarked on a lengthy road trip, which happened to be their first encounter with Egerton’s parents as well.

As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that the actress moved in with my beloved Josh Hartnett, and then, magic happened! Lara Jean (or the actress) became pregnant with our dear beau, Egerton. Overjoyed by this news, they tied the knot and embarked on their beautiful journey together as husband and wife.

The newest film starring Josh Hartnett is a psychological thriller that’s being directed by the esteemed M. Night Shyamalan.

At this performance, Hartnet portrays Cooper Adams, a father figure, who accompanies his daughter to a popular music event. Yet, the situation unexpectedly takes a dark turn when it’s revealed that the show is a cover for a notorious serial killer’s trap.

In addition to directing the movie, Shyamalan has also penned and produced it. 

The movie, which is titled Trap, was released in theaters on August 2.
