Josh Gad is planning to donate a portion of his latest memoir’s earnings to aid victims affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. In an interview with The Today Show, the actor from Frozen shared that the release of his memoir, titled “In Gad We Trust: A Tell-Some,” coincides with the aftermath of these tragedies.
Gad expressed a desire for today to be a joyous occasion, given how challenging things have been. He’s just returned from Los Angeles and finds the situation even harder to grasp than he expected. Despite being excited about his book finally reaching the world, he’s disappointed that it’s launched during such a tough time for him.
Gad announced that he intends to contribute part of his earnings from his book sales to various charities like the SoCal Fire Fund, Best Friends Animal Society, and Baby2Baby, which aid those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
He additionally motivated individuals to visit the website of one of the organizations and contribute any sum they are able, mentioning that even a small donation of $10 can make a significant difference during this critical time, as there are numerous people, animals, and infants who have been impacted by this disaster.
