Joseph Quinn is back as Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday.

This year, I was thrilled to take my first steps into the limelight as the hero of The Fantastic Four, starring in the captivating movie titled “The Fantastic Four: First Steps“. Fast forward a few years, and I’ll be reprising my role in the highly anticipated ensemble film that’s scheduled to hit the screens in 2026.

From Fantastic Four to Avengers

In a recent interview, Quinn shared insights about the contrast between working on his initial Marvel production and joining the Avengers series: a shift that he noted with interest.

Having the support of the other three actors from the ‘Fantastic Four’ made it feel intimate, and since we were all new to this project, it created a unique, personal, and special environment.

Joining a Stacked Cast

In a new development, the revival of Fantastic Four offered a fresh beginning for its characters. However, according to Quinn, Avengers: Doomsday introduces a distinct vibe due to its ensemble of seasoned Marvel Cinematic Universe and Marvel Comics veterans.

While it’s not denying that watching the Avengers isn’t a unique experience, it’s more like encountering veterans in their field who have been mastering their craft for decades. It’s quite heartening and comforting to recognize these characters I’ve previously seen on screen, from Thor to numerous others (who unfortunately can’t be named here). Standing beside them is truly exhilarating… though, a word of caution: spoilers ahead, they can be downright terrifying!

This epic blockbuster boasts an immense ensemble of Marvel Cinematic Universe veterans and several talented actors from the Fox X-Men films. Get ready for a cinematic spectacle when it graces our screens on December 18, 2026!
