Jonas Brothers Will Star in Christmas Comedy Movie for Disney+

The trio known as the Jonas Brothers are returning to Disney for a festive comedy, joining forces for a movie titled tentatively as “Jonas Brothers’ Christmas Adventure”. The film stars Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas, who embark on an exhilarating voyage. In the plot, they struggle to travel from London to New York City in time for their Christmas family celebrations, creating a whirlwind of chaos along the way.

acclaimed director Jessica Yu, famous for works such as “Quiz Lady” and “This Is Us”, will be at the helm of the upcoming film. The screenplay has been crafted by writing duo Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who have previously created successful films like “Love, Simon” and “This Is Us”.

Apart from their roles as actors, The Jonas Brothers are also taking on production duties for the movie, working alongside Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman, and Scott Morgan. To heighten the anticipation, Grammy-nominated Justin Tranter has been appointed as the music producer, tasked with composing fresh tunes specifically for this film.

The threesome boasts an extensive relationship with Disney. Years ago, they were the stars of the popular TV films ‘Camp Rock’ and its sequel, as well as their self-titled Disney Channel series, ‘Jonas.’ Additionally, their music career took off under Hollywood Records, a label owned by Disney, where they put out numerous albums.

Despite disbanding in 2013, they reconnected six years later and achieved unprecedented success with ‘Sucker,’ their debut Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single. They’ve been flourishing since then, even releasing their 2023 album, ‘The Album.’

For devoted Jonas Brothers enthusiasts and anyone seeking a festive treat, this forthcoming film is set to evoke fond memories and deliver holiday cheer – all thanks to the collaboration between Disney and the Jonas Brothers, arriving perfectly timed for the Christmas season.
