Jon Hamm Credits Lorne Michaels For Offering Chance With SNL After Receiving ‘Brooding’ Roles Post Mad Men Success

It appears that Jon Hamm isn’t hesitant to express gratitude towards those who have supported him in various aspects of his work. Moreover, he acknowledges Lorne Michaels, the creator of Saturday Night Live, for playing a significant role in elevating his career to new heights, as reported by People magazine.

The article states that during a chat with reporters on January 31, Hamm – awarded as this year’s Hasty Pudding Man of the Year at Harvard in Cambridge, Mass. – discussed how Michael had given him a chance to demonstrate his artistic abilities beyond strictly dramatic acting roles.
