‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ Ending Leaks Online & It Might Leave Fans Furious

As a seasoned gamer and film enthusiast who’s had the misfortune of witnessing more than one unexpected ending spoiled before its time, I must say, the leak of Joker: Folie à Deux‘s conclusion has left me with a bitter taste.

In just a week, we’ll be unveiling “Joker: Folie à Deux,” the follow-up to the 2019 film “Joker.” The plot continues two years after the initial movie, with Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as the Joker. Notably, Lady Gaga has joined the cast this time, portraying Harley Quinn.

Initially, the film was debuted a full month prior to its theater premiere, specifically on September 4, during the Venice Film Festival. Critics’ reviews quickly followed, and as a result, several information sources are now privy to the ending of the movie.

This brings us to the latest controversy, as the movie’s ending has reportedly leaked.

The leaked information suggests that Joaquin Phoenix’s character as the Joker meets his end in the film, concluding with an unexpected plot twist that may leave numerous fans feeling unsettled.

In brief TV advertisements, there’s a scene showing a courtroom blast, yet Arthur (portrayed as the Joker) miraculously survives. He flees and eventually meets up with Lee Quinzel once more. However, after recognizing that he is merely Arthur and not the Joker, she ends their relationship.

Later on, Arthur gets taken into custody and transported back to Arkham Asylum. There, another patient proposes sharing a joke with him. But instead of delivering a punchline, the patient attacks Arthur by stabbing him in his abdomen. Left to bleed out, the attacker continues to laugh hysterically.

The twist is that this inmate, played by Jacob Lofland, carves a “Glasgow smile” on his face, similar to Heath Ledger’s Joker in The Dark Knight. The movie ends, hinting that this inmate could be the real Joker.

According to Todd Phillips’ earlier statements, the character Arthur wasn’t intended to transform into the Criminal Mastermind of Gotham known as the Joker. Instead, he was portrayed as a profoundly disturbed person, not a career criminal.

Additionally, a report from The Hollywood Reporter lends credence to the theory by announcing that Jacob Lofland has secured a role as an inmate within the walls of Arkham Asylum.
