Fans of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure have a new installment to look forward to: the Steel Ball Run arc. A trailer shown at Jump Festa 2026 revealed the first episode will be nearly an hour long – 47 minutes – and will be available worldwide on Netflix starting March 19, 2026.

The upcoming season welcomes two new actors to the cast: Masaaki Mizunaka will be the voice of Sand Man, and Kenichiro Matsuda will play Pocoloco. Returning cast members include Shogo Sakata as Johnny Joestar, Yohei Azakami as Gyro Zeppeli, Kaito Ishikawa as Diego Brando, Rie Takahashi as Lucy Steel, and Kenta Miyake as Steven Steel.
Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi directed the series at David Production, with Toshiyuki Kato as series director. Yasuko Kobayashi wrote the series composition, Daisuke Tsumagari designed the characters, and Yugo Kanno composed the music.
Set in 1890s America, Steel Ball Run centers on the very first cross-country horse race, a 4,000-mile competition with a massive $50 million prize. Johnny Joestar, a once-gifted jockey now unable to walk, gets a second chance when he meets Gyro Zeppeli, a skilled but unconventional rider. They team up to compete in the challenging race, both hoping to achieve their own individual dreams along the way.
You can watch the first five parts of the JoJo anime on Crunchyroll, but Netflix is currently the only place to stream Part 6, Stone Ocean.
