Jojo Siwa’s Mom Breaks Silence on Mickey Rourke’s Homophobic Remarks on Big Brother UK Before Exit: ‘I’m Really Sad…’

Headlines are abuzz with the names of Jojo Siwa from Big Brother UK and Mickey Rourke due to his alleged homophobic remarks towards her on the show. In response, Jojo’s mother, Jessalyn Siwa, has posted a statement on Instagram about the matter.

Jessalyn openly shared on the specified social media site that she wasn’t taken aback by Rourke staying away, as she was aware he wouldn’t return home.

Jojo’s mother also mentioned, “I feel sad because I sent my daughter, who is indeed my child since I’m her mom and she’s my child, to another country for a TV show. Immediately upon arrival, she was not well-treated.

Jessalyn went on to say that Jojo managed the situation exceptionally well, and everyone who saw it commented on how gracefully her daughter carried herself. She pointed out that this doesn’t make what happened right or justified, but she was fortunate that Jojo was able to handle herself so capably and that she was alright.

Jessalyn disclosed that she’s been tuning into the live broadcast of the reality show during this entire season, keeping an eye on her child. She admitted to watching Karma perform in the remainder of the series, and as far as she’s concerned, Jojo is doing well.

She expressed that her daughter seems to continue with the same behavior, remarking, “Really? It’s almost like it’s tradition now. It’s turned into a game or a fashion. It’s become popular to dislike her, to bully her. … So now you’re telling her she won’t be a lesbian anymore? What will come next? Why don’t you just accept her for who she is?

Jessalyn disclosed that there were numerous comments expressing their fondness for her character on Dance Moms, particularly when she acted a certain way during the show. For those unfamiliar, during this season of Big Brother UK, Rourke made a comment to the Boomerang singer that if she stayed in the house for more than four days, she wouldn’t be queer anymore. In response, she assured him, “I will still be gay,” and added, “And I’ll be happily in a relationship with Kath Ebbs,” as reported by US Weekly.
