JOHN WICK Video Game Will Finally Let You Become Baba Yaga

The John Wick movies are famous for their incredibly detailed and intense action, which often feels like playing a video game. Now, it looks like that’s about to become a reality! Sony announced a new John Wick game for PlayStation 5 on Thursday, and it seems like a fantastic way to experience the world of the legendary assassin, known as Baba Yaga. And yes, Keanu Reeves himself – his face and voice – are featured in the game’s trailer. While it might not be mind-blowing, it definitely looks really cool.

This is only a teaser trailer, and the game’s official title hasn’t been revealed yet – though it might simply be called Untitled John Wick Game. The trailer was first shown during PlayStation’s State of Play event. With new games featuring James Bond and Wolverine coming out this year, it’s great to see John Wick entering the world of action-packed, third-person games. Time’s ticking for Mr. Wick!

The official synopsis is as follows:

As a huge John Wick fan, I’m really excited about the new game! It’s being made with Lionsgate and Chad Stahelski, the director of the films, so they’re really focusing on getting the feel right. The story will be original, but fit perfectly into the existing John Wick universe – we’ll see characters we already love and plenty of new faces. Saber, the studio making the game, is committed to capturing the stylish action and incredible camerawork the movies are known for, especially that amazing gun-fu combat. They’re even promising immersive driving and cool locations, all designed to make you feel like you’re John Wick in his own movie. Basically, they want you to play as John Wick, and that sounds amazing!

Honestly, what more would you want? Maybe the complete John Wick universe timeline?

We still don’t have a release date for the John Wick game, but you can add it to your wishlist now. It’s expected to come out sometime in the future, though the exact timing is uncertain – it could be as soon as a month, or potentially up to 18 years from now. That’s just an estimate, though!
