On what would have been his 33rd birthday, John Travolta posted a heartfelt tribute to his late son, Jett. The actor shared an old photo of himself and his beloved son, expressing the deep longing he feels on this special day. Taking to Instagram, Travolta wrote a touching message: “Happy birthday, Jett—I miss you dearly! My love for you endures forever.

16-year-old Jett Travolta, John Travolta’s son, tragically passed away during a family holiday in the Bahamas. During this trip, he experienced severe seizures. In a touching tribute, one of the photos shared showed Jett smiling with his sister, father, and mother, Kelly Preston, by his side.

In 2020, Preston also lost his life following a battle with breast cancer. He announced the sad news of his wife’s passing through his social media account.

With deep sorrow, I share the news that my beloved wife Kelly, after a valiant two-year struggle against breast cancer, has passed away. She displayed immense bravery throughout this journey, buoyed by the love and encouragement of countless individuals. Our family will always be indebted to the dedicated doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, as well as all the medical facilities that aided her, and to her dear friends and loved ones who stood by her side.

Earlier, during an interview with Esquire Spain, the man known for his role in Pulp Fiction opened up about coping with the loss of his wife and child. Travolta expressed, “I’ve discovered that grieving someone, handling sorrow, is a deeply personal process.

He also mentioned, “Grieving is a personal experience, and it’s following your unique path that helps you find healing. Each person’s sorrow is distinct from another’s journey.
