John Lithgow will soon take on two significant roles, one that involves a heavy responsibility and another reprising his role as the Trinity Killer in Dexter. The actor from Daddy’s Home 2 has recently reminisced about when he was given the chance to portray Albus Dumbledore.
As a die-hard fanboy, I’d rephrase it like this: “Taking on the wizarding series role was a massive choice for me. It means committing several years of my life, and let me tell you, I’m not exactly spring chicken anymore. This might be one of the last major roles I’ll get to play.
